Dec. 6 - 2011: The Holiday Season is among us. We are removing dead sites today. As well as removing denied sites from our database. We are working on reducing the load time on the site. We will be making edits to the design soon too. And, I am proud to inform you there will be yet another promotion site like this surfacing soon! I will keep you all informed! June 18 - 2011: So, nothing much has changed. We are happy to see that we are still delivering hits to you all. We are at over 37k hits delivered. I am debating on a referral contest. Who knows... Anywho, Thanks for those who have our buttons posted on their sites! Lets keep it up. Jan. 7 - 2011: LETS ALL REJOICE! The individual who had been posting the most spam, has been banned. We are also banning proxy servers to help ensure the integrity of our site. As well as the quality of hits being sent to your sites. I would like to thank those who add our code to their site. We are going to be changing our design and format a bit. Jan. 6 - 2011: It is quite sad, but we now have a newly implemented feature. It is called "Banning Dumb People Security Setting". I have had one person post the same BS, just under various paths... All leading to the same content, which no one wants to see. Because of him and a couple other people, we now have IP Banning! It will not allow you to add any sites, or even see the banner hotel. all they will see is this... We were doing so good, almost an entire year with no issues, then these people found us... I guess it was bound to happen. Dec. 30 - 2010: Hope everyone had a great holiday, and hope you all have a great new year! I'm gearing up for one hell of a new years eve. So in light of our meager attempt at a radio widget in the past, we now have one! StoopWidgets is a project we are working on, to add to the ever growing StoopNetwork. We currently have a few widgets and badges including page rank and a music video widget. Check it out @ Widgets.stoopkids.com. We also had someone keep posting some sort of google Rx embedded in blogs and media profiles... These are going to keep getting denied. I will start banning IP addresses if this continues. Nov. 26 - 2010: Been a while since i posted something in here... Hope everyone that celebrated Thanks Giving had a great day. Today we received over 100 out-clicks, putting us over 20,000 hits delivered (80% from google)! I still check the site almost daily. Be aware, we will be cleaning out the database, so any invalid urls will be deleted. If your site is temporarily down, it may be removed... We changed a few things as well. Nothing major. Feb. 13 - 2010: Now, your site will be shown after your first In-Hit is recorded! This is to reduce loading times. So, if you add your site, and you don't see it, add the code we supplied you to your site. This will ensure that your site will be indexed. Feb. 1 - 2010: So, Things have been ok here at the Banner Hotel... Hope everyone had a great time during the holidays. You may have noticed, we have not updated anything much. There has been nothing really to do. Things are all working properly. We did add one feature, when you click to visit a site, you are prompted to click a link. We may get rid of this shortly, pending the outcome. One thing I wanted to mention. I got a few emails about their site's not being added. Read the Terms of service! We have denied a few sites for specific reasons. We will be doing a "denied dump" which means you can try to add your site again. IF YOU GET DENIED, YOUR URL WILL BE BLOCKED FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS!!! Having said that, Thanks for the support, visits, and re-visits. Oct. 22 - 2009: Open for 1 Month Today! So far so good. Updated the User's Stats page. Now loads a bit quicker. The stats are in iFrames now. There will be a couple of new features in the stats page coming soon. And possibly Categories. This will make it easier for people to find a specific site. Oct. 20 - 2009: After getting some reviews, I changed the layout. This is probably going to change again. But, I wanted to make less plain, and more colorful. Hope you like it. Oct. 18 - 2009: Edited the site a little. Now the directory page has your META Description. Some sites came back with no description or an error. I also changed the Left-Navigation. So, I decided to see check Google.com, to see what I had for links indexed. Some out links appeared... Oct. 16 - 2009: Working on a new Estimated Site Worth Image. With Alexa Rank, Google PR, and more. It will all be on one image. If your site is listed, you will get an Image Code for your site. ** Working on getting all the pages to match... NEW - B.H. Radio (7 stations) Oct. 15 - 2009: Changed the main page a little. This is just temporary. Wanted the logo to look like a sign on top of a building... Oct. 8 - 2009: Now there is directory.html. Every time a new user is approved, we update our directory. This will help your SEO a little. Oct. 8 - 2009: So, made some changes. For instance this page... There is a stats section now. Here you will find all your stats for the Banner Hotel. There is also a few other stats. Alexa Ranking, Google PageRank, Inlinks, Etc... Even a Est. Site worth feature. I had started this a few days ago. Oct. 6 - 2009: Starting new stats. Check yours!
